Preventing tuberculosis in close contacts of TB patients

People living in households with people who have been diagnosed with TB have a higher risk of having been exposed to TB germs and are more likely to have TB infection themselves. This video shows how community health workers contribute to identifying more people with TB and referring them for treatment. They do this through identifying and screening people who have been in regular and close contact with people diagnosed with TB, particularly in households.
